Big Valley Resort’s Response to Coronavirus (COVID-19)
As the coronavirus continues to make news both here and abroad, we want to assure our past, current and future guests that, as always, our staff is committed to putting the health and safety of our guests above all else. To that end, we’ve increased our cleaning schedules throughout common areas of the property, concentrating extra attention on high-traffic areas. Additionally, we have implemented self-check in procedures to avoid unnecessary contact between our staff and arriving guests, and eliminate the need for congregating in common areas of our clubhouse.
It is also important to note that our accommodations are individual houses on their own acre of land, making it easy to limit contact with other guests and staff members. Additionally, unlike hotels, our heating and air conditioning units are self-contained, eliminating the need to “recycle” air through ductwork.
We are also actively monitoring the threat the virus may pose in our community and we are closely following the safety and prevention protocols offered by the Centers for Disease Control and our local public health officials. With these measures firmly in place, we are optimistic that this health crisis will soon come to an end. In the meantime, we remain open for business and ready to serve you, taking every precaution possible to protect the health of you, your pets, and our employees.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us via phone or email.
